Don Cobert - Irish Music

Don Cobert - Lead Vocalist and Rhythm Guitarist

Lead Vocalist and Rhythm Guitarist

Don Cobert was born and raised in Falls Church, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, D.C.

He began performing locally in 1976 in Metropolitan, D.C. nightclubs, pubs and at private functions. Since 1980, Don has been performing along the East Coast from Portland, Maine to Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Don has been featured on the Larry King radio show, hosted by Chris Matthews, and The Sonia Freedman Show Live from L.A. at CNN headquarters in Atlanta, GA, plus several local radio and cable television shows.

Throughout the years, he has been a popular performer at functions for the Members of the Armed Services, The Ancient Order of the Hibernians (AOH), and Irish festivals.

One of Don's trademarks is his unique ability to interact and bond with his audiences using humor and stories. He is most well know for his exceptional vocal gifts.

A rich baritone voice, with the ability to reach tenor, creates an atmosphere of intimacy...a nostalgic interlude...and stirs the blood or lifts the spirits, all in an evening's show.

Listen to "American Irish Dream," an original piece from Don's debut CD of the same name.
